What does Unipaint Factory manufacture?
Unipaint Factory is a Malaysian industrial coating manufacturer. We produce protective and industrial coatings (MIO, 2K zinc-rich primer, 2K polyurethane), premium wood and metal enamels, and a decorative wall range — plus OEM & private-label manufacturing — protecting steel and metal, wood, industrial equipment and manufactured goods.
Which industries and applications do you supply?
We supply manufacturers, small-and-medium industries and large corporations across Malaysia — including steel fabrication and structural steel, marine and offshore, oil, gas and plant, infrastructure, and OEM & custom manufacturing. Which coating should I use to protect steel from corrosion?
A typical anti-corrosive build-up is a zinc-rich or MIO primer for sacrificial and barrier protection, followed by a UV-stable 2K polyurethane topcoat for colour and gloss retention. The exact system depends on substrate, environment and corrosivity — our technical team will specify it for you.
How do I get a technical datasheet (TDS) or safety data sheet (SDS)?
Contact us with the product name and your application and we’ll send the current TDS and SDS from the factory. These cover coverage, film build, surface preparation, application data, drying and recoat times, and handling.
Does Unipaint sell wholesale to contractors, dealers and applicators?

Can you match colours and advise on the right product?
Yes. Our in-house specialists provide colour matching and technical advice on product selection, surface preparation and application. Send us your substrate, environment, colour and required finish and we’ll recommend the right system and quantities.

Are Unipaint products tested? How experienced is the company?
Unipaint has manufactured paint and coatings in Penang since 1972 — more than 50 years — and is synonymous with industrial coating in Malaysia. Products are independently tested by SIRIM QAS for technical performance, durability and reliability, and refined through continuous improvement (KAIZEN).

Our factory is at 1224 Jalan Station, Kampung Pengkalan, 14200 Sungai Bakap, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. We manufacture and supply direct, serving customers throughout Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.
